Annual Slow Food Farm Dinner
2024 INFORMATION
Slow Food Denver is thrilled to announce that the third year of our annual Slow Food Farm Dinner will take place on September 7th, 2024 at MASA Seed Foundation with food prepard by 2024 James Beard winner Chef Matt Vawter and the beloved Chef Paul C. Reilly.
Our venue, MASA Seed Foundation, is a fellow non-profit working to grow, secure, and preserve seeds acclimatized in our Rocky Mountain region. With a backdrop of the front range, Matt Vawter of Rootstalk and Radicato in Breckenridge will prepare a meal sourced with produce from MASA and fruit from the Western Slope all revolving around a whole hog roast.
The VIP event will welcome guests for a special hour of exclusive experiences. This year, we have partnered with Haykin Cider and Id Est’s Wolf’s Tailor to feature their recent collaboration that approaches food waste with creativity. Guests will be invited to indulge in Wolf’s Tailor cocktails, sample locally produced Haykin Cider, and savor delectable bites designed by Mara King of Id Est. To partake in this additional hour of enjoyment, secure a VIP ticket.
General admission guests will arrive at the conclusion of the VIP event for a cocktail hour that will allow everyone time to explore the farm and view the food & garden centric silent auction while listening to our band for the evening, Dear Marsha, and enjoying cocktails and mocktails.
Guests will then join Slow Food Denver in a covered greenhouse open to views of the farm and the Flatirons where everyone will dine on Chef Matt Vawter’s four course meal.
