Sponsorship Opportunities

Why Sponsor?
Slow Food Denver works daily to bring good, clean, and fair food to everyone in the Denver Metro area. We teach kids cooking and gardening skills that last a lifetime. We provide adults with the necessary education to become informed consumers and skills creators. And, we work to build a resilient, sustainable Denver food system for everyone.
Want to support this work? Sponsorship could be the right option for you!
Our Story
Founded in 2001, Slow Food Denver is dedicated to connecting our community with local food and creating a more just, sustainable food system. We center our work on cultivating connection, preserving biodiversity, celebrating diverse food cultures, defending socio-economic equity, and protecting our environment.
Our core initiatives include Seed to Plate, Community Workshops, and Snail of Approval. From our flagship youth education program, Seed to Plate, to our adult community workshops introduced in 2024, every program we lead helps cultivate a resilient, equitable, and sustainable future for Denver.

Our programming continues to grow annually.
Seed to Plate has grown exponentially, continuing to see bigger numbers every year. Since 2021, the youth education program has seen a 50% growth rate year over year (CAGR) in sites we are serving, with an overall 227.78% growth rate within that time frame. The program has also seen a 211% percent growth rate in student enrollment and 227.8% increase in classes held, within those three years. These number demonstrate our continued commitment to increasing access to nutritious food and cooking and gardening skills.
Statistics based on year over year annual reporting and self tracked statistics.
2025 Slow Food Denver Impact
In 2025, we had our largest impact yet. Each year we have grown as our programs reach new communities. In each new year, we aim to deepen our existing relationships and impacts, while expanding to reach new people in need. See a glimpse of this impact below.
Seed to Plate Program
We provided 11464 meals for 2323 students in 1049 classes at 56 schools. We also grew support for our instructors.
Community Workshops
Through our Community Workshops, we hosted 5 classes in 2025. Topics included: Foraging, Edible Flowers, Colorado Wine, Food Sovereignty & Anti-Inflamatory Cooking
Snail of Approval Program
We awarded 11 new snails and drove business to these value based establishments through our dining passport.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsoring a Slow Food Denver program or event means supporting our mission and vision for a more sustainable, just future in Denver. These opportunities come in a variety of sizes offering various benefits for supporting our work. See below to view our sponsorship options and click on the available buttons for specific offers for each. We hope you'll join us in making Denver a delicious, nutritious city for everyone.

1
COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
Sponsor our youngest program and help us to grow the important workshops bringing food and beverage skills and information to Denver residents. This program helps attendees gain the ability to cook, ferment, forage, butcher, and garden in an informed way. You can sponsor a single class, series, or the whole program.
2
SLOW FOOD FARM DINNER
This annual event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, supporting all of our programming. Sponsoring allows us to pay all vendors fairly without taking funds away from Seed to Plate, Workshops, Snail of Approval, and our general operating costs. Help us host the best event possible and raise even more to support SFD's ongoing work!
3
SEED TO PLATE
Supporting our youth education programming means assisting us in fostering a more educated group of young consumers. You will help provide underserved students with weekly nutritious meals, in addition to cooking and gardening skills that last a lifetime. The program truly embodies the old wisdom, "teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime."
