Membership Dues

Membership is on an annual basis, and there three levels of membership available:

Although your membership dues do not cover operational expenses for Slow Food Denver, they are critical to keeping the Slow Food movement alive. The membership dues that are forwarded from Denver to Slow Food USA are not simply paying for subscriptions to publications or for a membership card. Your dollars go to further the goals and initiatives of Slow Food, both nationally and internationally, as follows:

• Slow Food International uses a portion of your dues to help open new Slow Food offices around the world, thereby increasing our body of members and strengthening the Slow Food international community.

• Your dues also support development of the Slow Food movement here in the U.S., including the development of new chapters. On average 40 chapters open each year, and that number is growing!

• The rest of your dues go towards publications, operating expenses, and membership services provided by Slow Food USA, all of which help the Slow Food movement grow and function and to keep members updated and connected.
