Join Slow Food Denver in celebrating Colorado’s farmers, ranchers and food producers while raising money to support our local programming. Throughout the month of September Slow Food Denver will provide resources and host special events that allow individuals to engage with and learn more about our local food community.

Your Donation

Your donation supports Slow Food Denver’s Cooking From the Garden After-School Enrichment Program, which partners with local schools to teach students about where their food comes from, the joy of cooking, the importance of food choices and the pleasure of sharing with friends and family.  Learn more about this program here. 

The first 50 donations of $150 or more receive a local harvest basket filled with goodies from some of Colorado’s prized local food producers!


Give two students the opportunity to discover their own taste preferences and learn to create dishes they enjoy with the full Cooking From the Garden 10-week session.


Empower one student to grow from passive food consumer to creator with 10 Cooking from the Garden classes (the full 10-week session).


Provide one student with the knowledge of where their food comes from with 5 Cooking from the Garden Classes.


Introduce one student to the joy of cooking with 1 Cooking from the Garden Class.
